What is the NADA Acupunture?

NADA acupunture is a treatment protocol designed to help people  struggling to manage diabetes, chronic depression, bipolar disorder, high blood pressure, insomnia, weight loss, anxiety and stress. It is also helps those who want to reduce symptoms of substance withdrawal and detoxification.

The treatment is based on the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) protocol and involves the placement of five needles in specific sites on each ear which correspond to specific organs including the lungs, liver, kidneys and nervous system. They trigger a release of natural endorphins to increase relaxation, relieve tension, and ease substance cravings for those undergoing detoxification whether from narcotics or pharmaceuticals.

Additional benefits reported by patients are: reductions in cravings and anxiety; fewer episodes of sleep disturbance; reduced need for pharmaceuticals; improved retention in drug treatment programs; more optimistic attitudes about detoxification and recovery.
